HIGHWAY CHARACTERISTICS
The highway is a dual carriageway, 2 lanes in each direction. a closed toll system and designed to accommodate five toll plazas at each of the planned five interchanges along the entire expressway.

INTEGRATED FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
Peninsular Medical Sdn. Bhd. (“PenMedic”), Ahmad Zaki Resources Berhad’s wholly-owned subsidiary has been awarded a concession with IIUM and Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) for the design, build, lease, maintain & transfer of a 300-bed teaching hospital located in Kuantan, Pahang on 21st September 2011.
The Sultan Ahmad Shah Medical Centre @IIUM is also the first hospital in Malaysia to be awarded based on Private Finance Initiative (PFI) through an open tender by the government.
PenMedic also carry out the Asset Management Services, consisting of Facility Engineering Maintenance, Cleaning, Security and Medical Equipment Maintenance.
PenMedic is managed by a team of qualified professionals who have been involved in the industry for more than 10 years.
